  • Welcome to my blog. This is the area where you learn about me; someone you can trust to capture all your treasured memories. I love showing your story through photos - the story of a wedding celebration, a growing family, and friendships. I have lived through each stage and event, and loved scrap booking my memories and my story with photographs. My goal is to capture the real you.

I am a mother of two wonderful children who changed my life the minute they were born and continue to astound me at each new stage. I am a wife to an amazing husband that is my rock and support and best critique ~ THANK YOU! I love to workout although I struggle to find time and I love summer and the golf season. I also love to hear from you – so write a comment or leave a note, and enjoy looking through the photos!! Have a WONDERFUL day, thanks for stopping by and God Bless.

Wedding Album

With all the children and families I love to capture and photograph throughout the year, something in my heart tugs at weddings. I love them. Every wedding is filled with a special day, wonderful family, laughter, tears. I put in hours of time to create an album that will be cherished throughout a lifetime. I thought I would share the album done this fall below. It is a gorgeous flush mount coffee table album, 10×10 in size and fabric handpicked by the couple to match the feel of the wedding day.  With every wedding package a hard bound proof book is also included, this helps with ordering from the Digital DVD and a fun book to look through and see all 400-1000 pictures depending on your wedding event and hours of photography.

So sweet…

I really need this little guy to come back into town so I can give him a few cuddles. He was so sweet and did amazing! These are just a few of the photos I fell in love with. I loved too many of the photos (to post) with his mom, a wonderful co-worker/friend/designer. I have loved every minute of getting to know her and work along side her, such an amazing talent that just blows me away with every design she does.

I love seeing the difference in a second-time-around mom; one who is relaxed, soaking up every minute, one who knows that time is going to go way too fast, and this time around I know what I am doing. She is glowing with love and comfort and patients – love your family!! Enjoy the pictures and hopefully a weekend filled with SUN!

His big sister was adorable! She is going to love him, protect him, and help her mom and dad probably too much:)

Cory & Nikki

This engagement session was perfect. Thankfully we waited another 2 weeks for warmer weather, -10 degrees and blizzard to 60 degrees. Nikki was one of Isaac’s first preschool teachers and he was a lucky little guy, she is an amazing teacher. My family has met some amazing people through daycare; from owners to teachers to parents to kids and this couple is no exception.

I love initially visiting with every couple about their story prior to the engagement session; where they met, hobbies, favorite places, anything that will make the session about them. I was excited to hear they love bow hunting, a perfect place and activity to photography. Plus this is usually where you will get the biggest, natural smiles out of guys. Thanks for the great afternoon and I CANNOT wait for your wedding day. Congratulations on your engagement and enjoy all the planning!

Matilda Jane Trunk Show!!!

I finally contacted Matilda Jane and inquired on how to have a trunk show with all their amazing clothes.  There is no trunk keeper in Montana, so this show is being shipped in from Utah so we can try them on, touch them, and see everything in person – YAY!!  I have a couple dresses for Hadley from Matilda Jane and they are amazing fabric (no wrinkles) and go with so many different shorts/pants/tops you can almost have a weeks worth of outfits with just a few pieces.  Plus they are comfortable.

In order to buy these clothes you have to attend a trunk show (or pay way more on ebay later on) so now is your chance to get your hands on this really cute stuff!

Where: My house! PLEASE shoot me an email if you are going to come and I’ll send you directions.

Who’s invited: Everyone! Bring your moms, sisters, friends, and your kids. My kiddos will be here so there will be someone to play with.

When: FRIDAY, March 14th 3-5pm

            SATURDAY, March 15th  11-2pm.

If you cannot make either of these times and would like to see the clothing in person send me an email and I will be around on Sunday for appointments only.

You can also go on their website so you can narrow it down, since you will probably want everything (the newest line is called Wonderful Parade). These clothes work great for a photo session; wonderful colors to pull from for the dads, moms, and other kids.  {Sizes 6 month to Moms}  Email me if you have any questions, otherwise I will see you on FRIDAY!

If you want to order but can’t come, just call Ashlee at 801-592-4567 or email her at ashleea@matildajaneclothing.com. You can also make a wish list from the Matilda Jane website and email it to Ashlee.

Sweet 1 Year Old

Another sweet 1 year old with an amazing personality. She was such a sweet girl, even for being sick, and let her personality come out during the session. Since we had another blizzard this weekend my engagement session was postponed for another weekend, got caught up on our taxes, and really all I want to do is watch chick flicks on the couch in my pjs. I think my whole family is getting ready for a little spring time, outside time, golf time…

But until then, I will take these amazing indoor studio sessions with the cutest kids ever. ENJOY!!

Baby M {So Sweet}

January was a busy month for photo session. Thankfully with all the snow these were all perfect “studio” sessions where we were warm. Right now I really struggle with family sessions since it is either too brown, way too windy, or just too cold for little ones. So studio sessions or a session in your home is perfect for these cold months.

This little girl is born in an amazing family and will be loved by her older sister for sure. I enjoyed every cuddle and rock and snuggle I got.  Thanks for bringing her over to capture this amazing time. This blog is a little late, but I thought better late than never! Enjoy the photos, stay warm, and where ever you drive right now your car WILL get dirty.
