  • Welcome to my blog. This is the area where you learn about me; someone you can trust to capture all your treasured memories. I love showing your story through photos - the story of a wedding celebration, a growing family, and friendships. I have lived through each stage and event, and loved scrap booking my memories and my story with photographs. My goal is to capture the real you.

    I am a mother of two wonderful children who changed my life the minute they were born and continue to astound me at each new stage. I am a wife to an amazing husband that is my rock and support and best critique ~ THANK YOU! I love to workout although I struggle to find time and I love summer and the golf season. I also love to hear from you – so write a comment or leave a note, and enjoy looking through the photos!! Have a WONDERFUL day, thanks for stopping by and God Bless.

50 Weeks – I made it!!

It is already February and I have been thinking about this post since yes, January 1st! SO how many readers out there remember this blog post from last year (click here – 2013 New Years Resolution). Below is my post of 50 images from last year with me IN the photos with family and friends. I am so excited to give away a 60 minutes session and I am looking forward to some warmer weather, green grass and lots of fun!!  So if you took photos throughout the year last year: 1 email me your name and 2 the photos. As for how to get 50 photos to me, if you have a great idea send it my way. If you have a photo program that would work or clip thumbnails into a word program.  All I request is the session we capture can be blogged and shown on FB.

I look forward to seeing your 2013 photos of fun with family and special friends.

I realized looking back on my year, I am SO thankful for camera phones. Over half of these photos are taken with a camera phone and even if it isn’t professional quality it is a photo that I look back on and can remember the event. I am also thankful for vacations. I might have 50 images, but sadly a few of them are from the same trip or memory. I wasn’t as diligent every week as I should have been, but I did make sure over this past year to get in front of the camera and smile along with my kids. Enjoy my year below and STAY WARM!!

blog4I just have to write that the couch below I’m sitting on was my first couch I owned. I still remember my mom saying, ‘if you want flowers you better get them now before you are married – guys do not like flowers.’:)Good bye couch; it was sold at a garage sale last summer to a wonderful home with a sunroom.

1 Year Old Already!!!

What an amazing first year! Happy Birthday!! I was able to capture this guy every 3 months last year and watch him grow up into a serious little walker. His huge smiles were gone this session, but a cute Mr. Independent personality arose. He loves his books and and not being put into a basket:)

So adorable – what a wonderful year; thank you, thank you, thank you!! So glad we could make each session work out.

3 generations wore the outfit on the left for their 1 year old photos. Classic and a photo that means so much to grandparents and family…

I feel like I’m using the airplane background a lot right now, but it is new and I have seen 2 one year old boys within a week of each other. Hopefully you will not get tired of it, I’m a fan!! :)

Miles {Big 1 Year Old}

What a doll and what a week.  This week has felt like a month and it is only Tuesday.  Thankfully I could come to my office and edit this precious 1 year old.  I am so thankful for these children and thankful that they can bring a smile to my face and a joy to my heart when I look at their expressions on camera.  This was the medicine I needed tonight…

I was so excited to see that his outfit matched the new backdrops perfectly and what an adorable outfit it is (etsy has some amazing kids clothes).  There was a little warm up, but after a couple minutes we captured some fun smiles and personality all his own.  Happy Birthday and enjoy the sneak peak!!

Look at those eyes and his mom said this was his new “thing”. He found he tongue.

Happy New Year

What a wonderful 2013 – THANK YOU for an amazing year. I just looked and my last post was back in November, too long. I will post photos soon on why we were M.I.A. for December. It was a crazy, fun, busy month. I do hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I enjoyed a Christmas filled with family, friends and the spirit of Jesus.

Friends {Billings MT Family Photographer}

Life is fun! That is all I can say. The simple pleasures of children, laughter, and smiles. It makes my evening to hear about my children’s friends; who they met, what they played, and how they are now “MY BEST FRIEND” (this is mostly Hadley).  I love it and I also love getting to know the families. I remember moving back to Billings thinking most of my friends moved away, who am I going to see and visit with (moms need their time too). Moving back to my home town has been the most enjoyable experience since leaving for college. The families we have met are amazing and it always brightens my kids day and mine. I got to know this wonderful family through Hadley and daycare. The girls are so much alike it will be a love-hate relationship, but they are so cute together.

We drove out of town to their sister’s ranch and had an amazing time with a boat, 4 wheelers, new tree swing, river, barn, horse and on and on. So many things to do and photograph I could have stayed there another hour, but ran out of daylight. It was a gorgeous location, amazing props, and a beautiful family. Enjoy all the pictures and I cannot wait to see them hanging on your walls.  Thank you so much for asking me to take your family photos.

WOW…thank YOU!!

What a fall. Such an amazing, busy fall that my blog is getting dusty… along with my house:)I feel so lucky and once again I am going to thank my family and husband. This fall has been crazy and I have met some of the most amazing children and families.  We had a great time and captured some wonderful photos.  I will blog them, promise.  Right now it is busy behind the camera, busy behind the computer, and busy getting orders out the door.  So sadly blogging takes a back seat along with my television shows.  I cannot complain though because I do love editing every session I photograph almost as much as taking the pictures.

Tonight I did want to blog and sadly write that I am full/booked up throughout 2013.  It has been such an amazing year and I have learned so much through each session.  Thank you everyone!! I will hopefully get caught up and post on some of my favorite sessions and tell you what to expect in 2014. I already have a few sessions booked in 2014 so if there is a special event, call or email early.

This photo below probably looks like I am running away, but I look at it as running towards a Christmas full of family and into a GREAT New Year. I promise I’ll be back with more photos before the new year, hopefully before Thanksgiving!

Siarrah {Billings Senior Photographer}

I have had the best seniors this year to photograph and Siarrah was no exception. She has a wonderful smile, great personality, and is going to accomplish so much at college.  We had a great time jumping around to fun locations, getting a big “WORK IT” from a passing car, walking to new locations downtown, and rocking the session. Thank you so much for contacting me to photograph your senior photos. This was a fun session to photograph and edit. Might be a little photo overload, but I hope you enjoy the pictures!!
